In this session we will be exploring the role of OSINT in counter-fraud strategy. Recent public sector counter-fraud strategies prioritise the proactive identification and prevention of fraud. Investment in people, technology and cross-sector collaboration are all key – but where does Open Source Intelligence fit in?

In this interactive seminar, we’ll discuss how OSINT can be used to meet the strategic objectives of finding, fighting and preventing public sector fraud. We’ll cover:

• Why OSINT is so crucial to the success of public sector counter-fraud strategy

• Existing industry best practice for using OSINT to identify and stop fraud – including technological innovation and application of AI.

• How to overcome common OSINT challenges, from data sharing to security and ethical concerns
